“ I just visited Sarasota for a night getaway, last night we had dinner at Classico and it was so good we went back this afternoon for brunch! The staff is super friendly. Last night we had Elizabeth as our server, she was super sweet, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations! We had the fried calamari, the bruschetta and the Parmesan pasta with sirloin tips. Classico is a fresh kitchen so everything tasted divine! I had a Manhattan with Bulleit bourbon that was so smooth and hit the spot. This morning we had Travis, who was very welcoming and remembered seeing us last night! We had fresh bread and butter, the bread service and the shirt rib hash, I also ordered a side of bacon! I ordered the short rib because last night people kept singing its praises… I did not disappointed!!! Being on vacay we had Mimosas for our drink. If you are in Sarasota do yourself a favor a visit Classico! ”
“ We came to this restaurant, and what an excellent experience we had. From the moment we walked in, everyone was very friendly and attentive. We were fortunate to be served by Carla, who made us feel very special, always attentive to everything. The food was delicious, with authentic flavors. For drinks, I ordered very good margaritas. Congratulations to the kitchen; they do a great job. We met Chef David, who made the experience even more special. Thank you so much. I loved it! ”
“ We had an excellent experience dining here for an early dinner. The place was nicely decorated and had a great ambiance. We had made a reservation and were seated immediately. Drinks were ordered and arrived quickly. They were also very accommodating with some special requests we had with our baby. We started off by ordering a small plate of meatballs, as well as a wedge salad. They were delicious. The entrees we ordered were the bolognese, chicken Parmesan, pork chop and chicken pesto pasta. Everything was fantastic! Even the kids pizza was large and tasty. Our entire party enjoyed all of the food and had no complaints at all. The service was excellent throughout. We can’t wait to go back, and would definitely recommend Clasico for a wonderful meal! ”
“ I had a wonderful Sunday brunch at Classico after church! My friends and I tried a variety of dishes— my friend got the kale salad, I had the short rib hash, another friend ordered the steak and egg entree along with the smoked salmon small plate, and my sister got the 1341 Benedict and some waffles. Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. Chef Brandon does a great job. For drinks, I had the La Vie en Gold, which comes in a martini glass and even had cute little hearts on top which was such a sweet touch! I’m not typically a bourbon drinker, but I love amaretto, and this cocktail is always a favorite of mine. My friend had the Frequent Flyer, it was good, but I still preferred mine. The service was excellent. Our server was personable, friendly, and took the time to answer all our questions. She made sure my friends, who were new to the restaurant, had a great experience, and I appreciated how attentive she was throughout brunch. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all came together to make a really enjoyable Sunday brunch. I’m glad we tried Classico for brunch, it didn’t disappoint! ”
“ One of our favorite spots! Amazing food and incredible dessert! The short rib pizza was one of my favorites ever. Had to come back for another salad and grouper. House made donuts fresh were beyond delicious! Great drinks & wine! Awesome atmosphere and wonderful bartenders! We love Bailey! ”
